Veroncia Black

Veronica leads the WHS team at the NSW Nurses and Midwives Association.  She brings over 30 years of experience in the union movement and has represented workers at local, national, and international levels. Her work focuses on tackling some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare, including occupational violence and biological hazards. Veronica is passionate about empowering workers and HSRs through education, while also shaping broader policy and legislative reforms. She is an ACTU representative on the SafeWork Australia WHS Significant Issues Group and holds a Masters with Distinction in WHS.
