Tim Grellman is a Special Counsel at Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers having previously worked at the Fair Work Commission and other national law firms since. Over the past decade, Tim has represented many Unions and their members in a variety of industrial matters and employment/criminal/WHS disputes.   

Tim is passionate about addressing the inherent power imbalances within Australian workplaces. He has a growing Union practice and former Union employees Jessica Duan and Amelia Raptis have joined Tim’s team in the past year. Jessica and Amelia continue to support Unions and their members within Tim’s team. 

 A growing aspect of Tim’s practice includes discrimination claims in the Australian Human Rights Commission/Federal Court on behalf of Union members. Tim also assists Unions with respect to award variations, enterprise agreement interpretation/disputes and registered organisations (rules) matters.  

Tim is proud to support ULIO, having previously served on the ULIO Executive Committee for two years.
