Keely Tobin

Keely has been a Legal and Industrial Officer at the Australian Council for Trade Unions since 2023. In her time at the ACTU, Keely has been involved in a number of significant test cases; most recently, the first contested applications for supported bargaining authorisations filed by the HSU and the AEU for an agreement to cover disability work in Victoria, and by the SDA for an agreement to cover McDonalds workers in South Australia, as well as supporting the MEU and the AMWU in the first contested regulated labour hire "same job, same pay" case. She is currently representing the ACTU in the work from home test case, and will lead the upcoming review of part time provisions in 11 modern awards.

Prior  to coming to the ACTU, Keely was a legal officer at the AMWU and tipstaff to the Hon. Justice Carolyn Simpson AO.
