Hamish Gamble

Hamish is an economist specialising in industry policy and the labour market. He works for the AMWU where he provides an economic perspective across a broad range of issues including working class politics, inflation, and trade. 

Prior to this, he worked at Flinders University developing a model of economic complexity for Australian states and researching the relationship between industrial/manufacturing capabilities and job quality.
